Planning Your Vacation For Next Year?
Make note of these changes to the admissions to our national parks

I’m kinda burned out right now with the holidays and all the shit going on in DC and ICE popping up all over the place, so let’s talk about a lighter topic.
Let’s talk about our national parks. I had heard something about Trump wanting to increase the entrance fee to the parks for international visitors.
Way to bring in those tourist dollars!
Turns out they are raising prices on non-residents. The new park fees are as follows:
Annual Passes
$80 for US Residents
$250 for non-residents
Day Passes
$100 surcharge on top of the regular fee for international visitors
So typical of him. Keep our parks just for citizens. No foreigners allowed. Well, fiddling with the fees wasn’t enough. Now he has changed the days when there are no fees to enter the parks.
Not surprisingly, he has eliminated MLK Day and Juneteenth as fee-free days. No surprise there. He hates Black people. But he has added a few other days in their stead.
Namely, the entire Fourth of July weekend. As if those days weren’t busy enough already. And President Theodore Roosevelt’s birthday in October.
Don’tja just love Trump’s fascination with Teddy Roosevelt? A real man’s man. Every time Teddy Roosevelt comes up, all I can think of is Trump on horseback. And before you rush to the comments, yes, I agree, any self-respecting horse would buck him off and then kick the shit out of him.
But back to those new fee-free days. Also now known as “resident-only patriotic fee-free days.” Meaning if you are a foreign visitor, you don’t get in for free. You have to pay the regular ticket price plus the surcharge.
The biggest change is Flag Day, June 14 is now fee-free. It also happens to be … drumroll, please … Trump’s birthday. And it’s not a coincidence. It’s right on the National Park Service website “June 14: Flag Day/President Trump’s birthday.”
You can see it for yourself here. Scroll down to the “2026 Free Entrance Days in the National Parks.”
Can you see how he is trying to make his birthday a national holiday? Pretty sly. Just wait until next year. He’ll figure out a way to make his birthday a national holiday. If he lives that long. You know that I don’t think so.
I still give him only until the end of the year. But if he is still with us on New Years Day, rest assured that he won’t last much longer. Medical doctors, who admittedly haven’t treated him, say that based on his symptoms and that mysterious second annual physical and advanced imaging, he has maybe two to three months to live. So by February we will be rid of him.
There will be dancing in the streets.
