Nerian’s Corner — Community Call: We are looking for Full Stack Developers.

Nerian Network OÜ keeps building. The company takes advantage of the current circumstances to build a peer-to-peer processing network. In order to do so, mountains of work have to be moved. Before we move to the next phase, we’d like to anticipate changes by already laying out some fundamental rails.

Therefore, Nerian is looking for multiple full-stack developers wanting to contribute to the peer-to-peer data processing network we envision building.

The role

The role presents an opportunity to become an integral part of our development team with a lot of room to perform computer programming tasks (mainly) using the Rust programming language.

We are seeking Full Stack Developers responsible for coding and developing projects such as web browsers, operating systems, server and systems software, and bare blockchain code utilising Substrate.

We are a team of hungry entrepreneurs and engineers driven by the opportunity to create a peer-to-peer data processing network. We have the technology, the team and the timing to build an edge cloud network, markets and even economies, creating more open, sustainable and autonomous ways of living and working.

Things you will do

• At Nerian Network OÜ, we write software across the whole blockchain stack and as a developer you can be expected to work on any of these things. Deep knowledge in one of the following areas is especially appreciated:
• Implementing P2P networking research and technologies;
• Working with cryptography;
• Implementing consensus algorithms;
• Working on performance optimization and tuning;
• Working with blockchain bridges;
• Implementing decentralized applications, including “Layer 1” and “Layer 2” approaches.
• Working with and learning about a completely new autonomous cloud infrastructure.
• A bit of front-end design.

What you bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Knowledge of Bitcoin, Ethereum or other blockchain technologies;
• Familiarity with the Rust ecosystem;
• Interest in autonomous technology and Web 3.
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
• The flexibility to wipe everything you think to know and start from scratch…
