Ae we ready for a Myspace return?
Remember Myspace?
The place where you spent hours picking the perfect background song & discussing with other users about who made the Top 8?
Well… Guess what? The Myspace staff announced in 2026 that they are officially working on a relaunch.
The Myspace staff basically feel like everyone is completely exhausted by today’s corporate algorithms, endless scrolling & forced video feeds.
The Myspace staff wants to bring back a space where you actually customize your own page & focus on music as well as focus on real friends again.
It honestly sounds like a breath of fresh air compared to how stressful social media feels right now for a lot of individuals.
Here is why it might actually be worth logging back in:
- No corporate algorithms- You see what your friends post in real-time not what software wants you to see.
- Total profile control- You can design your own page layouts instead of looking like every other generic account.
- Music is the focus- It brings back the classic setup for discovering indie bands & put songs on your profile.
- Zero pressure for video- You can just write text & share pictures without needing to make clips or reels.
- The famous Top 8- It brings back a fun, nostalgic way to showcase your closest circle.
Would you log back into your old account if it returns?
Only you can answer that question but I would not mind the return of Yahoo Answer. Yahoo Answers is definitely something that I would use if it returned.
Anyways I’m curious to see how well Myspace would do when they return.
I would say that it is something I would use again alongside The Clapper App
