Decided Not To Write Tonight

A Poem

I’ve decided not to write tonight, hard to fill these empty bars, when the moon’s smile shines so slight, I sit by empty stars, pondering from afar.

This pen won’t cease its quivering, eager to share what’s on my mind, yet the image blurs, a vague rendering, unlike the clarity it used to find.

Weeks have passed, my head wandering, I suppose tonight marks a new sight, not to grasp thoughts of you, it’s confounding, so I’ve decided not to write tonight.
