Technical Development

1. Continued Validator Set Expansion (21 → 24)

• The maximum number of validators on the Crust Mainnet was increased from 21 to 24.
• This change further decentralizes the network and enhances security and consensus robustness.

2. Crust Files Mini App Registration for Base Onchain Summer Awards

• Crust Files Mini App was successfully registered to participate in the Base Onchain Summer Awards.
• This positions Crust for greater visibility in the broader Ethereum L2 ecosystem.

3. Hedera Grant Application Follow-Up

• Follow-up activities on Crust’s grant application with the Hedera ecosystem continued this month.
• Discussions are ongoing to explore integration and funding opportunities.

4. Crust Mainnet Staking Reward Adjustment Mechanism (In Development)

• A new mechanism is under development to improve fairness in Crust staking rewards.
• The mechanism is designed to better compensate long-term and active stakers.

5. Crust Parachain Substrate SDK Upgrade (In Development)

• Continuing the upgrade of Crust Parachain to the latest stable version of the Substrate SDK.
• This effort aligns with ongoing modernization of the codebase and improves future maintainability.

1. Deeply integrated with Polkadot, Crust provides the foundational storage layer that Web3 games and dApps rely on!

7. Crust joined Soul Cloud Academy’s S3 Core Training Conference to engage in a roundtable discussion and share insights on the future of decentralized storage and Web3 infrastructure.
