What can we extract from this request that the psalmist makes to God?

As an initial point, practically the psalmist is taking the responsibility of assuming the work of an accountant of one of the most important assets of life “time” as a good accountant is asking for the instruction of the owner of time, since only by nurturing the knowledge and skills (learning and application) can achieve an excellent management of this value, because after using it, it can no longer be recovered.

Beloved with honesty sometimes little we think about it, without generalizing but some beings on this earth do not even pay attention to this, live for living and sometimes waste time in vain things that as a result leads to poverty in all aspects of life (physical, emotional and spiritual), Therefore today I exhort you that no matter how much time you have invested or spent, start today and become an excellent accountant, who receives the wisdom of the Eternal and apply those wonderful skills that he imparts to you to extract the best juice from your existence on this earth.

Start like this:

1. Surrender your life to the Lordship of Christ
2. Listen, learn and apply the instruction of Jesus.
3. Celebrate the results no matter how small.

Remember that the process may be slow, but if you add perseverance and faith you will achieve great things in due time.
