Bengkulu — Seven participants of the 2025 Civil Servant Candidate Basic Training (Latsar CPNS) at Class IIA Bengkulu Correctional Institution presented various innovative ideas during an Innovation Presentation session held at the prison’s hall on Wednesday (June 3).

The activity was attended directly by the Head of Class IIA Bengkulu Correctional Institution, Julianto Budhi Prasetyono, along with structural officials. The event served as a platform for the CPNS participants to showcase their creativity, analytical skills, and commitment to contributing to the improvement of correctional services and inmate development programs.

The innovations presented covered a wide range of topics, including digital-based service development, improvements in administrative efficiency, strengthening inmate rehabilitation programs, and initiatives aimed at enhancing public services to be faster, more transparent, and more responsive to community needs.

During the presentations, each participant explained the background, objectives, benefits, and implementation strategies of their proposed innovations. The prison warden and officials expressed appreciation for the participants’ enthusiasm and initiative while providing constructive feedback to refine the innovations and maximize their potential application within the institution.

In his remarks, Bengkulu Prison Warden Julianto Budhi Prasetyono emphasized that innovation plays a crucial role in supporting the transformation of correctional services. He stated that every civil servant is expected not only to perform their duties effectively but also to develop creative and solution-oriented approaches in addressing organizational challenges.

“Through this activity, I hope the CPNS participants will continue to develop innovative ideas that provide tangible benefits for the organization, improve service quality, and support the realization of a professional, accountable, and public service-oriented correctional system,” he said.
