Nothing is harder on the soul, than the smell of the dreams, while they are evaporating.

Dreams evaporate when the souls burn, and when the souls are burned, the scars are hardly forgotten.

If it were like that, I would be the happiest version of myself. If things were not against me, I would be somewhere in a better place. ‘If’ is such a sharp knife that we repeatedly plunge into ourselves.

Most of us suffer because of unfulfilled dreams, and even more because we keep existing in them and don’t let go completely. We imagine ourselves in that moment with our own perfect endings, but when reality triggers, we find ourselves in despair, struggling to fully give in to the present moment.

Life’s biggest punishment is memory; it makes you alive in moments that have no existence.

We live in an imaginary past and in the present. In the present, it’s just our physical existence, and in the past, it’s where our emotions, energies, mind and soul are. We trap ourselves, and in the present, we witness the apocalypse, and later we regret the same present moment we wasted. Sometimes, I think it’s we who bring harm to us, not an outside force, but our inner conflicts that seize us and make us see what truly matters at the time.

I believe that our hamartia, which we never understood, and we don’t even want to. We beings love to suffer, and we will, regardless of the fact, choose the same tools of suffering and continue repeating the same mistakes.
