PN Tais Supervisory Judge Reviews Services and Rehabilitation Programs at Bengkulu Class IIA Prison

Bengkulu — The Supervisory and Observing Judge (Hakim Wasmat) of the Tais District Court (PN Tais), Rohmat, conducted an official working visit to Bengkulu Class IIA Correctional Facility on Thursday (18/12). He was accompanied by Criminal Junior Registrar (Panmud) Tri Haryanti and two criminal staff members.

The delegation was received by Bengkulu Prison, represented by the Head of Registration Subsection, Kevin Yosiva. The visit was carried out as part of the Supervisory Judge’s duties to monitor the implementation of court decisions, ensure the fulfillment of inmates’ rights, and observe rehabilitation and service programs within the correctional facility.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed several service areas and rehabilitation activities, starting with the Primary Clinic to observe the healthcare service flow for inmates. The visit continued to the Healthy Kitchen to ensure food processing procedures met health and nutritional standards.

The Supervisory Judge also reviewed religious rehabilitation activities at Getsmani Church and inspected the inmates’ residential blocks. At each location, the delegation received detailed explanations regarding service procedures, rehabilitation programs, and supervision mechanisms implemented by Bengkulu Class IIA Prison.

This working visit is expected to strengthen coordination and synergy between PN Tais and Bengkulu Class IIA Prison in upholding a correctional system based on humanity, transparency, and legal certainty.
