Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is one of the most prestigious state-level civil services examinations conducted for recruitment to various posts like Sub Divisional Officer, Rural Development Officer, District Liaison Officer and other PCS level officers etc. The syllabus of the BPSC Prelims and Mains exam is set by the Bihar Public Service Commission. The Commission is constitutionally incorporated to assist the State Government of Bihar in recruitment, transfer and disciplinary matters of public service in the State.

BPSC Interview Test

Candidates who have qualified for the BPSC Main Examination will be called for an ‘ Interview’ round. The candidates are interviewed by a Board appointed by the Commission. The main areas examined by the interviewer are given below.

• The candidate will be interviewed by a board that will have a record of the candidate’s career and interests filled by the candidate in the application form.
• The purpose of the interview is to examine the personal suitability of the candidate for a career in the State Services by a board of competent and impartial observers.
• In personality tests, apart from their academic studies, candidates should also be aware of the events happening within and outside their state.
• An interview is a purposeful conversation aimed at finding out the mental qualities and analytical ability of the candidate.
