Out of these functions, I believe the most anticipated and most asked about has to be staking. Let’s see the staking mechanism of INFT token and the kinds of value it brings to all members of Infinito ecosystem.

Deriving from the blockchain consensus algorithm called “Proof-of-Stake” (PoS), staking is the activity where one deposits their tokens into a digital “vault”, which can be a smart contract or just an account in the system, instead of trading. By doing this, the individual registers their intent to “keep being on the network” and in return, they receive “benefits” such as passively generated income (similar to traditional banking) or typically, the ability to elect important developments on the network (such as the block validators aka Block Producers for EOS blockchain).

EOS today leads the pack in terms of volume of assets staked, followed by Algorand, Tezos, Dash, and Cosmos.
