6 Days of Potential Pain

This week, the vice governor of Central Java Taj Yasin is pushing for 6 days of school instead of the standard 5 days. He’s excuse for this is that the kids and the parents will be equal in the family gathering. This will benefit for stronger discipline for learning, time management and so on. In my opinion as a student I absolutely disagree with this statement and if it will be implemented soon, there are some concerns about it.

First of all definitely stress is the first concern because 5 days of school is already stressful for us students because of demanding task, academic pressure, and lack of rest. Second concern is family time. Students need to talk to their parents for school concerns because the parent will help their concerns. Lastly students will be less motivated of going to school. It correlates with stress as well students will not have any to no time for having fun.

In conclusion, in theory there will be benefits but in action there will be too much problems of 6 days school week. My suggestion is that the Central Java government reconsider the program for benefits and concerns if they are balanced.
