Celebrating Law Day 2026 — New Immigration Books and More

May 1st is Law Day. This year’s theme is The Rule of Law and the American Dream. James Truslow Adams coined the term “The American Dream” during the Great Depression in his 1931 book, *The Epic of America* as “a land in which life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to his ability or achievement” and a society where individuals could achieve their “fullest stature” regardless of their birth circumstances.

More than 80 million immigrants have come to America since its colonial period to pursue the American Dream. One barrier to that dream is a complicated immigration system. With that in mind, and in keeping with the Law Day 2026 theme, we offer the following list of our new immigration law books and additional online resources for immigrants, immigration attorneys, and advocates.
