THE TOWER WITH NO END

I woke, swallowed by the dark, My heartbeat trembling in the stillness around me. A tower so high, I’m trapped within, Around me, shadows swallow the sky.

I call for help, but only my voice reply, Fear grips my chest, refusing release. I clutch the rungs, I reach to climb, Yet the heights slip away, time runs through my hands.

No moon, no stars, just endless shadows — I fall, I tired… I drift to sleep.

Suddenly, a light descends from above, A fragile beam dancing in the boundless air. I dream of a life where I drift and sway — I reach for that slender light, yet nothing holds. This tower stretches on, cold and unyielding.

I touch, I feel… a door within my grasp, Wooden and real, I strain to stand. Push once, push again, The floor shakes beneath me; a roar fills the air.

Dizziness pulls, but I will not break — This is the moment, my breath to take. A faint light above, a tiny, trembling spark, Floating alone through the endless night.

I dream of a life where I drift and sway — I found a door, yet it would not yield. I tried, I tried with the wounds in my hands, Until a crack of light shattered the darkness, And I breathed it in — my soul ignited.

The darkness behind me, I rise. Within the tower, I fought, I survived… Now bathed in light… I am alive. I am alive.
