New Releases: Big Peat Unveils Limited Edition for Fèis Ìle 2025

This year, Big Peat celebrated the Islay Festival with two limited editions.

The first is a 15-year-old expression, distilled in 2010 and bottled at 50% ABV. It is a blend of Islay malts matured in select casks to deliver Big Peat’s signature profile: a smoky sweetness with marine notes and a barbecue finish. No coloring or chill filtration. Available online and UK stores.

The other bottle is a Single Cask personally selected by Fred Laing, Chairman of Douglas Laing, owner of the Big Peat brand. This cask was distilled at Caol Ila in 2010, matured in a second-use cask, and bottled at 55.4% ABV. Only 150 bottles have beeen produced, and each bottle is numbered and hand-signed by Fred Laing. This expression is only available during the festival. (Friday 23rd to Saturday 31st May 2025)

Both expressions mark Big Peat’s continued homage to Islay whisky heritage during the annual Fèis Ìle celebration.
