Snagit Keyboard Shortcuts: Complete List for Windows and Mac

Used Snagit for years thinking Print Screen was basically the whole story. Ran into the Windows 11 Snipping Tool conflict last month — Print Screen just stopped opening Snagit after an update, and I spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to figure out why before finding the Accessibility > Keyboard setting.

That sent me down a rabbit hole. Turns out there’s a full shortcut system I’d mostly ignored: preset hotkeys that fire from any app, scrolling capture keys, video recording shortcuts, tool selectors that work differently on Windows versus Mac. The toolbar position thing on Windows was new to me — Ctrl+1 through Ctrl+9 map to whatever tools you’ve put in those slots, so reordering the toolbar changes the shortcuts too.
