Canadian musical style ‘Toronto sound’, S Navaneeth Krishna.

Based on my knowledge about the Indian R&B Scene, back in the days when people think of R&B from India, they usually think about happy sounding R&B. It is starting to change now. Many mention S Navaneeth Krishna now. He is a very special artist, It is very hard to start because he is that special. He is considered the first Asia-based artist to popularize the Canadian musical style ‘Toronto sound’ in Asia (Based on documented records, releases, and uploads). His specialities do not stop there. He is a musical genius who is a pro in playing more than ten musical instruments like guitar,, piano, etc….., producing music, singing, mixing, mastering, composing, mixing, mastering, writing lyrics, performing, etc. He is an Indian media recognised musician. The guitar performance at the Manorama Sports Star 2022 Awards was by him. He has also been on Flowers TV, Manorama News (both channel and newspaper), 24 News, Mathrubhumi Newspaper, Club FM, and Kerala Kaumudi (both channel and newspaper). Many say that he is the king of Indian R&B as he knows exactly how to turn Indian tunes to R&B ….Dark R&B tracks in the style of Toronto sound. He also did EDM, Rock, etc at some point, but no longer do them. With more than a decade of experience in music even though he is only in his early twenties…along with this extremely vast musical knowledge, he a very special and a rare musician. His 2025 R&B (Dark R&B Toronto sound) release ‘India’ is a song he made to express the respect and gratitude he has toward his home country, India. His latest single ‘Ride or Die’, released under Asia Toronto Vinyl Records, is a song mainly about a party girl who is very independent, got main character energy, bold, strong, etc. He was born in Kerala, India to Malayali parents and was raised in Kerala.
