The Age of Bio-Steel: Why the Next 10 Years Will Redefine “Life”
The Age of Bio-Steel: Why the Next 10 Years Will Redefine “Life”

We’ve grown used to imagining the future as chrome, metal, and cold plastic.
But I see something else.
While the world wrestles with the ghosts of the past, the real revolution has already begun – and it’s not in code, but in cells and plasma.
⸻
- The Plastic Apocalypse Is Cancelled
Forget the terrifying predictions about oceans of waste.
We’ll deal with plastic within the next few years.
Photocatalysis (UV degradation) and high-temperature pyrolysis will become as ordinary as a washing machine. Plastic will stop being waste – it will become an infinite resource.
Petition No. 14076 was just the first signal.
⸻
- The Great Battery Fever
The real challenge isn’t plastic – it’s what we’re using to try to save the planet.
Solar panels and lithium batteries will become the main environmental headache of the decade. The world will drown in exhausted metals, and the solution will come from the East.
Japan will take the lead.
They will be the first to shift toward bacterial batteries. Why mine lithium when colonies of microorganisms can generate energy?
These will be eco-friendly, “living” batteries that, at the end of their lifecycle, simply become fertilizer – not poison.
⸻
- Energy Split: Hydrogen vs Plasma
Transportation will divide into two camps:
- Urban rhythm: buses and municipal transport will fully transition to hydrogen. Clean, quiet, and already real (just look at Poland).
- Specialized tech & space: military, rescue systems, and interplanetary transport will move toward plasma and “eternal” cells.
The artificial sun that physicists are working on today will become a portable source of power for those who need the impossible.
⸻
- Homo Selectus: The End of Random Birth
The most profound changes will affect us.
Genetic modification will reach full accreditation. We will stop playing the “genetic lottery.”
Natural selection, in its old form, will fade away. Humanity will move toward scientific selection – from choosing the healthiest, most resilient cells to growing organisms with predefined traits.
“Survival of the fittest” will be replaced by “birth of the best.”
We will begin to grow our armor from within – a kind of chitin-like regeneration that, for now, many only sing about.
⸻
Epilogue
The world is unpredictable, but the algorithm has already started.
We are not just building machines – we are teaching matter how to live.
And if this sounds like madness to you – just listen to the music of the spheres.
It’s all already written there.
See you in 2036.
