Stu1 ASM2 RMIT Principle of Design Note and Activity

Note

unity in shape, style, size, color, stroke, scale, texture, space, proportion, balance, movement

complex unity in meanings, purpose, etc.

control the variance in bland and chaos.

emphasis different in contrast, darkness.

the more details, the more complex issues when rendering.

expectation for interactivity.

Boolean Activity

I learn more about pathfinder functions, variety of its usage. I think that I will apply it to make my icon clearer and easier for viewers when they see them in the first time.

Cy’s feedback

I am on the right track with my user for these icons. learning more about emotions through playing games and interacting.

However, I need to make them more unified, along with researching facial expressions (more ideas, not just based 100% on the original character design). For me, this is a tough one because if I do not describe enough, viewers can not relate to these characters (this is not my intention), also if I describe too much, there will be a lot of details and break the balance between them.
