Jesus is YAHWEH/Elohim, Not a Person in a Triune God

Trinity teachers have made God unknowable, using Greek metaphysics and human philosophy to turn biblical faith into a confusing formula.

“Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh…” (1 Timothy 3:16)

The central truth of the Christian faith is not a triune mystery of three persons but the incarnational revelation of YAHWEH Himself — the one and only God — in the person of Jesus Christ. Contrary to the post-apostolic doctrine of the Trinity, Jesus is not a second person in a divine committee. He is Elohim, YAHWEH, the visible image of the invisible God. The Trinity doctrine is not only absent from Scripture, but it also introduces philosophical confusion, pagan symbols, and historical violence foreign to the gospel of Christ.

Trinitarian Logic: Contradictory and Illogical

The Trinitarian statement that “each is fully God, yet not three Gods” is not merely mysterious — it is logically incoherent. It posits three centers of divine consciousness, each called “God,” but then insists that this does not amount to three Gods.

This formula does not arise from biblical revelation but from post-biblical councils and Greek metaphysics. The early apostles never declared a doctrine of “co-equal, co-eternal persons.” Instead, they preached a simple, monotheistic message:

“God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself” (2 Cor. 5:19)

Genesis 1:26–27: Not Three Persons, But One God Speaking

Trinitarians often quote Genesis 1:26:

“Let us make man in our image…” To claim that this proves a multiplicity of persons in the Godhead. But verse 27 says: “So God created man in his own image.”

If “us” referred to three distinct divine persons, then verse 27 should read “in their image.” But Scripture affirms singular identity — God alone is the Creator, acting by His Word and Spirit, not as a triune council.

Jesus Is the Visible Image of the Invisible God

The Bible does not say the Son is “part” of God or a distinct person from the Father. Rather, Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9). He is:

• The exact image of God’s person (Hebrews 1:3)
• The Word made flesh (John 1:14)
• The Father revealed (John 14:9)
• The I AM (John 8:58)

The mystery is not that three persons exist in one being — but that the eternal, infinite God took on flesh to redeem His people. That’s the true “mystery of godliness.”

Jesus is YAHWEH of the Old Testament

Scripture identifies Jesus with the names and roles of YAHWEH Himself:

• “I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no savior.” (Isaiah 43:11)
• Yet in the New Testament, Jesus is called: “our great God and Savior” (Titus 2:13)
• YHWH-Jireh (The LORD will provide) — fulfilled in Jesus, the Lamb of God
• YHWH-Rapha (The LORD heals) — fulfilled in Jesus’ healing ministry
• YHWH-Tsidkenu (The LORD our righteousness) — fulfilled in Christ’s atonement

Even the name “Jesus” (Yeshua) means “YAHWEH is salvation”. He is not an assistant of God — He is God who came to save.

🔷 The Trinity is a Post-Biblical Construct Rooted in Paganism

The Trinity, as formally articulated, emerged centuries after Christ. Its development was not the fruit of divine revelation, but the product of political councils, imperial theology, and Greek philosophy.

Its symbols — such as the triangle, triquetra, and threefold personhood — can be traced to:

• Egyptian triads (Osiris, Isis, Horus)
• Babylonian pantheons
• Greek neoplatonism
• Kabbalistic mysticism

This has led many to confuse oneness with multiplicity, and to substitute the God of the Bible with a conceptual mystery void of clarity or personal intimacy.

🔷 Biblical Mystery ≠ Trinitarian Mystery

The Bible proclaims many mysteries — but never the “mystery of the Trinity.” Instead, it reveals:

• The mystery of God manifest in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:16)
• The mystery of Christ in you, the hope of glory (Col. 1:27)
• The mystery of the gospel (Eph. 6:19)

When Trinitarians say, “If you try to understand it, you’ll go mad; if you deny it, you’ll go to hell,” they substitute faithful inquiry with fear-based dogma. But Scripture says:

“The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and our children…” (Deut. 29:29)

🔷 Who Is Coming Again? Not the Trinity — Jesus Alone

Jesus said:

“I will come again and receive you unto myself…” (John 14:3)

He didn’t say: “We will come.” The apostles taught that Jesus — not a triune God — will judge the living and the dead:

“We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.” (2 Cor. 5:10)

There is no passage where the Father and the Spirit appear apart from Christ. Why? Because God is revealed in Christ. There is no other person to come. He is the Alpha and Omega.

🔷 Final Questions Trinitarianism Cannot Answer

• If Jesus prayed, does that mean two divine entities, or was it the Son in flesh interceding as High Priest?
• If Elohim is plural, why limit it to three when its usage often refers to one God speaking with majesty or including His heavenly hosts?
• If Christ is the image of God, how can God be personally divided?
• If the apostles did not teach the Trinity and were still saved, why is belief in a post-apostolic dogma required for salvation today?

🔷 Conclusion: Jesus Is Not a Second Person — He Is the Living God

“To us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things… and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things” (1 Corinthians 8:6)

Jesus is YAHWEH in visible form. He is the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, and the Redeemer of mankind’s. The doctrine of the Trinity, with its contradictions and philosophical abstractions, obscures this glorious truth.

Let us return to the simplicity of Christ — and proclaim what the apostles preached:

“That God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself.”
