Weekly Dose of Inspiration and Happy Mother’s Day!

Here’s a short dose of weekly inspiration and a short funny anecdote about my Mother’s Day celebration!

IDEA- I read about 5% character in Jason Fiefer’s LinkedIn newsletter. He’s immensely talented so highly recommend joining that community. Plus, the concept of refining a segment of your complete self so you remain relevant and valuable for your audience is very actionable and useful.

BOOK RECCO- Stand Out by Dorie Clark is what I recently finished. It is on my re-read list as are few others by this author. They are fantastic and is one of the many reasons I wrote about her. She is also included in my book The Unstoppable Chapter.

HAPPY MOTHER’s DAY!!

Hope Mother’s Day has been full of joy and gratitude, and if sombre, wishing for hope and healing !

I do want to add my funny, teary-bleary eyed celebration to lighten things up and remind how impotant humor is in parenting; because as ever, kids say and do the most incongrous of things. For instance, I got gifts and requests for assistance this Sunday morning. Yep, no rest for the wicked! My 6yo bounced in saying Happy Mother’s Day and then announced

“Oh, and the Toilet Paper is out! See I told you before I used it ! I remembered!”

Her beaming face had me laughing and yes, I am glad she remembered. Ha ha ha!

My regular pactice of gratitude and years of parenting allows me to laugh abut this and recognize this is a good snippet for content and embarassing her in future! Not to mention, this is clear indication of no AI in my writing- because you cannot make a story like this up! Although I would not mind AI handling requests like these, thank you very much!
