Imagine walking into a room that looks less like a college classroom and more like a mini medicine factory. That’s exactly what happened to me in my very first week of B.Pharm. Our professor took us to the Machine Room. As a beginner, I was honestly amazed to see the massive setup. Huge machines, conveyor belts, and equipment that actually manufacture the tablets, capsules, and liquid medicines we only read about in books.We discussed the names of the machines and their basic functions. How tablets are compressed. How capsules are filled. How liquids are prepared and packed. It hit me that pharmacy isn’t just about formulas in books. It’s also about massive industrial engineering and the real process behind every strip of medicine we see in the market.
