Chapter One – Her
Chapter One – Her

A person who masters an art is called an artist.
But what do you call someone who was never created by human hands?
She is not a painting.
She is not a melody.
She is not even poetry.
She is the poem God whispered to the universe before language was ever born.
And I…
I am merely the fortunate soul who found the pages, reading every line over and over, falling in love each time as though it were the first.
⸻
To describe her feels almost unfair.
How could words ever explain the rarest miracle the world has quietly hidden?
People stand at the shore, mesmerized by the waves, believing they have seen the ocean.
But they never dive.
They never discover the silent gardens beneath the surface, where light dances through endless blue, where the most breathtaking wonders choose to exist unseen.
That is who she is.
The world falls in love with the shore.
I fell in love with the ocean.
Every day I dive a little deeper – not because I wish to solve her, but because I wish to spend a lifetime discovering her. I want to know every corner where her laughter was born. I want to visit the playground where her inner child still runs barefoot without fear. I want to memorize every dream she has never dared to speak aloud.
Most of all…
I want to protect that child forever.
She tells me she wants to be a baddie – beautiful, confident, wrapped in aesthetics that make the world stop and stare.
She doesn’t realize she already does.
Not because of clothes.
Not because of makeup.
Not because of perfection.
But because beneath every layer, she remains the sweetest little princess the world forgot to protect.
⸻
If kindness had a heartbeat, it would sound like hers.
If purity ever took human form, it would borrow her smile.
Her heart is so gentle that even the innocence of a newborn feels humbled beside it.
She carries a strange kind of love – the kind that thinks of everyone else’s happiness before remembering her own. The kind that still wishes peace upon those who have only ever handed her pain.
She forgives before she is asked.
She understands before she is understood.
She heals even while she is still bleeding.
And somehow…
she believes this is ordinary.
In a generation where people have forgotten how to value one another, where affection is temporary and loyalty is negotiable, she quietly continues choosing kindness.
Not because the world deserves it.
But because that is simply who she is.
She has unknowingly become my definition of humanity.
She has unknowingly become the woman who teaches me what it means to become a better man.
⸻
I have always been quick to anger.
My temper has often spoken louder than my heart.
But then there is her.
She meets storms with softness.
She answers sharpness with patience.
She chooses understanding when most people would choose pride.
Sometimes I look at her and wonder…
If someone so delicate, so deeply sensitive, can continue choosing gentleness after everything life has placed upon her shoulders…
Then what excuse do I have?
Without trying…
she calms me.
Without saying much…
she melts every wall I ever built.
She reaches places inside me that no one else has ever been able to touch.
She doesn’t fight the darkness in me.
She simply becomes enough light for it to disappear.
⸻
Is she perfect?
No.
And perhaps that is the most beautiful thing about her.
She is wonderfully, beautifully human.
She stumbles.
She overthinks.
She gets hurt.
She carries battles no one notices.
She spends sleepless nights wondering whether she is enough.
Yet every morning, she chooses kindness again.
Every morning, she chooses hope again.
Every morning, she chooses to become a little stronger than she was yesterday.
Even those who have broken her are met with compassion.
Instead of asking,
“Why did they hurt me?”
She asks,
“Maybe they’re hurting too.”
She keeps finding reasons to protect the people who never protected her.
Some people call that foolish.
Some call it weakness.
I call it extraordinary.
Because while everyone else is slowly forgetting what it means to be human…
She remembers.
Every single day.
⸻
Today…
I saw her from a distance.
And for a moment, time forgot how to move.
She walked toward me like an angel who had accidentally wandered away from heaven, searching for somewhere safe enough to rest.
Little did she know…
my heart had already become her home.
Everything around me dissolved.
The conversations became silent.
The world became colourless.
The only sound that remained was the quiet rhythm of her footsteps, each one echoing louder than my heartbeat.
And when she finally stood before me…
My heart stopped.
Not because it was afraid.
But because it genuinely couldn’t understand how someone so beautiful could exist beneath the same sky as everyone else.
Her eyes…
They looked like twilight had decided to sparkle.
Her cheeks carried the softness of clouds kissed by the evening sun.
Her smile arrived before her lips did, warming every cold place inside me.
Her lips looked as though strawberries had learned how to bloom.
And suddenly…
I forgot every word I had ever known.
How do you describe beauty that makes language surrender?
How do you explain a feeling that teaches your heart a completely new way to beat?
You don’t.
You simply stand there…
hoping time is kind enough not to move.
⸻
She came into my life when everything inside me had already begun to fade.
When hope had quietly packed its bags.
When happiness felt like something meant for other people.
She arrived without making promises.
Without trying to save me.
Without even realizing what she was doing.
Yet somehow…
she became light.
The light that reminded me survival was still possible.
The light that taught me happiness could return.
The light that made comfort feel like a place instead of a memory.
The light that gave me permission to become myself again.
I often wonder what I have ever truly given her.
Because every day, it feels as though I receive galaxies while offering nothing more than ordinary hands.
And still…
she looks at me as though I am enough.
As though I matter.
As though I have already given her the world.
Perhaps that is why words continue failing me.
Because no language has ever been capable of measuring someone like her.
No poem has ever reached her softness.
No story has ever carried her heart.
She is simply…
the rarest miracle this world was ever trusted to keep.
And if there is one prayer I will continue whispering for the rest of my life…
It is this –
May she never lose the kindness that makes heaven feel closer whenever she smiles. And may she rests in my heart forever.
Because in every way a soul can be beautiful…
she already is.
