The only way to ensure sexual satisfaction is to let your partner know what you want in the bedroom. This can be uncomfortable, but urologist and pelvic surgeon Dr. Rena Malek says it’s necessary.
“We don’t know how to talk about sex and no one taught us how,” she said. “But regardless, in order to have better sex, you need to talk.”
How can you start these conversations? Malek suggests beginning with a list.
“Literally take a piece of paper and write down every sexual act you like or think you might like — oral, anal, manual, kink, whatever,” she said. “Write it down, then sit down together and compromise, and gradually work your way into trying different things.”
