Lust

How do you deal with temptations like lust and pornography? Victory over pornography is a major battle around the world today. But the best advice I have ever found in the Bible is simply to flee from lust.​

We need to have a healthy fear of sin because sin is waiting at the door, desiring to have us. Because of that, my strategy is to actively avoid the specific things that are most likely to trip me up — whether that means certain media or being in close proximity to someone who might offer temptation. I don’t trust my own strength, so I’m choosing not to put myself in situations that make me vulnerable.
