TBP: The Best Prompt

This is a guide to getting started with TBP, an extension for Safari on iOS, iPad and macOS.

It’s an AI-powered prompt optimiser, designed to help you find the best possible prompt for your task.

Even if your prompt is vague, thanks to the right questions, you’ll have a professional-quality prompt in just a few moments.

All of this requires AI. Ollama, OpenCode Key, DeepSeek, Claude Key via OpenRouter… any LLM that works with the OpenAI standard can be used. There’s a ‘custom’ section where you set the rules for your LLM.

INSTALLATION: Once installed, you need to enable the extension. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Safari > Extensions

From there, you can manage the extension, enable it and access its settings.

Once enabled (you don’t need to configure it just yet, although if you have done so, it’s already set up), open google.com in Safari (for technical reasons, there must be a window open) and in the puzzle piece located at the bottom left of the address bar where you enter URLs, the text ‘TBP’ and a trigger should appear. If it appears but won’t let you access it, disable it and re-enable it.

Once you’ve opened the app via the TBP button — which is the puzzle piece icon to the left of the Safari navigation bar — you’ll access the app in full-screen mode, just as if it were a website, but without an associated URL. Enter your prompt. The more specific you are and the more you know about the topic, the better. But even if you know nothing, you’ll see extraordinary results when you paste the final Master Prompt provided by the extension into a different LLM, such as GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, Gemma…

Esta es una guía para iniciar en el uso de TBP, una extensión para Safari, tanto iOS, iPAD y MacOS. Se trata de un optimizador de prompts con IA, para obtener el mejor prompt posible para realizar tu tarea. Aunque sea vago tu prompt, gracias a las preguntas apropiadas, tendrás un prompt de calidad profesional en apenas unos instantes. Todo ello requiere de IA. Ollama, opencode key, DeepSeek, Claude key mediante openRouter… cualquier LLM que funcione mediante el standart de openai puede funcionar. Hay un apartado “personalizado” donde tu eres quien pone las reglas de tu LLM.

INSTALACIÓN: Una vez instalado tenemos que activar la extensión. Para ello vamos a Ajustes>Apps>Safari>Extensiones Desde ese lugar podemos gestionar la extensión, activarla y entrar dentro de su configuración.

Una vez activada, (no hace falta configurarla aún aunque si lo has hecho ya lo tienes preparado) abrimos google.com en safari (por motivos técnicos debe de haber una ventana abierta) y en la pieza de puzzle que se encuentra abajo a la izq de la barra de navegación donde introducimos las URLs, deberia salir el texto TBP y un activador. Si sale pero no os deja entrar desactivarla y volverla a activar.

Cuando hayáis entrado en la app mediante el botón TBP que se encuentra en el botón de la pieza de puzzle a la izquierda de la barra de navegación de safari, accederéis a la aplicación a pantalla completa como si de una web se tratase pero sin url asociada. Escribe tu prompt. Cuánto más específico seas y más sepas sobre el tema, mejor. Pero aunque no sepas nada verás extraordinarios resultados cuando pegues, hagas paste del Master Prompt final que te ofrece la Extensión, en Otro LLM diferente, como GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, Gemma…
