Time Traveling

Can We Break The Wall Of Time?

My Take, My Thoughts, And A Long Real Talk

Start: A Weird Question

Amm, just think for a second. What if a door opened right in front of you right now. And someone said, "let’s go to 1999." Or they said, "wanna see 2050?"

Time travel. Just the word takes your brain straight to movies, books, and that "what if" feeling.

Or will science make it real one day?

Today let’s talk about it. No filter. Real talk.

1. What Does Science Say?

Science says time is not the 3rd dimension. It’s the 4th. Einstein proved it in his Theory of Relativity. Time is not solid. It bends.

Time Dilation: 10 years pass on Earth. But for you, only 2 years pass. Technically, you just jumped into the future.

This is not theory. This already happened. Astronauts who spend months in space come back a few seconds younger than us on Earth.

So going to the future? Amm, that’s not impossible. We just need insane amounts of energy.

But the past? That’s where science gets stuck. To go to the past we’d need a "wormhole" or a "closed timelike curve." Those are just ideas right now. Not real.

And the biggest problem is the paradox.

2. The Scariest Question: The Grandfather Paradox

Ooh, this one makes your head spin.

And by mistake you stop your grandfather from meeting your grandmother. If they don’t meet, your dad is never born. If your dad isn’t born, you’re never born. If you’re never born, how did you even build the time machine and go back?

So what actually happens?

Scientists have 3 answers:

1. You can’t change the past.

What happened, happened. Even if you go back, you can’t change it. 2. Parallel Universes.

The moment you change something, a new universe is created. You can never come back to your original one. 3. Self-consistency.

The universe protects itself. You’ll try to stop your grandfather, but something will always stop you.

Personally, I find the third one the most logical. It’s like the universe has its own antivirus.

3. My View: There Are two Kinds Of Time Travel

Look, I believe there are 2 types.

Type 1: Machine Time Travel This is the movie version. Press a button and boom, you’re in 1920.

If everyone got a time machine, what would happen? People would go see lottery numbers. Students would go back to leak exam papers. Countries would go back to win wars. Oo God, just imagine the chaos.

That’s why part of me thinks it’s good that it’s not possible yet. Some things should stay locked.

Type 2: Heart Time Travel And this one is the most real.

Amm, when you open an old photo album and see yourself at 8 years old. Isn’t that time travel? Real life example 1: You hear one old song on the radio and suddenly you’re back in college. The hostel, the friends, the late-night talks. All of it. In 3 seconds. Real life example 2: You smell someone’s perfume and instantly remember a moment from 5 years ago. A street, a conversation, a feeling.

Science couldn’t build the machine. But we were given memory and emotions. And they travel faster than light.

In my opinion, this is real time travel. It hurts. And it heals.

4. If I Got A 24 Hour Time Machine

Tough question.

My first thought is, "I’ll go back and fix my mistakes." The day I spoke rudely to someone. I’d speak softer. The chance I wasted. I’d grab it.

But then I think... if I didn’t make those mistakes, would I be me today? Every wound taught me something. Every loss made me stronger. If I edit my past, maybe I delete my future self too.

So no, I probably won’t go back.

I’d go forward. 10 years ahead. I want to see where technology is. How people are living. Did we fix the climate problem or not?

And then I’d come back and start working today. To make that future better.

Amm, seeing the future to fix the present. That’s the best kind of time travel.

5. Time Travel And Human Nature

Human nature is "more." Get money, want more. Get fame, want more. Give us a time machine and what then?

First we’ll just watch. Then we’ll try to change things. Then we’ll try to control everything.

History proves it. Whenever humans got power, they misused it.

Sometimes I think the universe locked time travel on purpose. To protect us from ourselves.

Time has to keep moving. If it stops, life stops.

6. The Philosophy Part

Philosophers say, "time doesn’t even exist. Everything is happening now. Past, present, future all exist together."

If that’s true, then we’re everywhere, all the time. We just don’t have the right angle to see it.

Spirtulists say the same thing. "Don’t imprison time. Live in the moment."

And as a photographer I’ll add this: A good photo is also time travel.

See? We do time travel every day. The tool is just different.

7. What’s The Danger?

The biggest danger is this. If we knew the future, we’d stop living in the present.

"Why work hard today? I know I’ll be rich in 2030 anyway." "Why fix this relationship? I know it’s ending in 2 years."

If we knew everything, the fun would be gone. The suspense would be gone. Hope would be gone.

Maybe not knowing is better.

Final Words: My Conclusion

My personal take is this: Whenever something moves at a very high speed — I mean, at the speed of light — it goes beyond time. What I mean is, we can say it has "crossed the limit of time." It has gone past time’s boundary. That’s why we say the rules of time don’t apply to it anymore.

And that’s what a "Time Traveller" really is. We enter the dimension of time. We catch time. We capture it.

But capturing time, controlling time — that’s not in a human being’s hands. Humans don’t have the power to control the power of time. If someone could control time, they would also know the art of using it well.

In my opinion, this isn’t possible here on Earth. But yes, I will say this: it might be possible when we go beyond our material existence. When our physical body completely ends, and we enter some other dimension — then maybe we can control or hold time.

But at that point, we wouldn’t have a physical body anymore. We also wouldn’t be able to move at the speed of light.

  • Einstein gave us the law for that. In his Time Dilation Theory, he presents 2 types: Time Dilation based on Velocity Time Dilation based on Gravity , Earth’s gravity, or the gravity of anything else.

Time travel is a question that might never get a full answer.

Science will say, "it’s possible, we just need tech." Religion will say, "time is in God’s hands." And your heart will say, "you do it every day."

My personal opinion is this: Even if machine time travel becomes possible, it won’t give you peace. Peace is only in this moment.

Remember the past with gratitude. Plan for the future. But live... right now.

Because what’s gone won’t come back. What’s coming, we don’t know. What we have is only this second.

Amm, so make today your masterpiece. So that 10 years later, when you look back, you can say, "I didn’t waste that time."

10 years back or 10 years forward? And why?
