Raven’s “Real” Measurement ?

So, the forums are on fire again. The date stamp says 1998. The measurement shown is… well, let’s just say it’s significantly larger than the “official” stats some of you have been posting.

And immediately, the skeptics are out. “It’s too big,” they say. “The angle is weird.” “It can’t be Raven because the numbers don’t match the ruler pics from her latest ruler pic.” or “but Courtney’s palms are bigger”.

I’ve been staring at this photo for an hour (don’t judge me), and if you think this belongs to anyone other than Raven, you are deluding yourself. Look past the numbers for a second and look at the anatomy.

That palm shape is a fingerprint. It is exactly her hand. Now, about the size discrepancy. People are freaking out because the tape measure shows a completely different size.

Here is the thing you are forgetting: Flexibility and the “Sewing Tape” Factor.

A rigid wooden ruler is unforgiving. You have to flatten your hand against a hard surface, which restricts the natural spread of the skin and joints. But a tailor’s tape? A sewing tape follows the curve. It allows you to really push.

In 1998, a younger Raven, perhaps feeling a bit competitive or just wanting to see what she was truly capable of, probably stretched that hand to its absolute limit. We know she treats her hands like a pianist treats their instrument , she stretches them.

It’s not a fake. It’s not a trick. It’s just Raven, unconstrained by a rigid ruler, showing us exactly how much space she can take up.
