Month of Support (May 2026)

Last month, CALMIA donated a portion of its sales to UNICEF. (Proof of donation: As it takes time for an official receipt to be issued, we are sharing an image in its place. Please note that the image has been partially edited for sharing purposes.)

About UNICEF

UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) is a UN agency that works to protect the lives and health of children around the world. To defend the lives and rights of every child, it operates in approximately 190 countries and territories, giving the highest priority to the hardest-to-reach children.

The Japan Committee for UNICEF is one of 32 UNICEF national committees worldwide and serves as UNICEF’s official representative in Japan. Based on a cooperation agreement with UNICEF, it engages in fundraising activities within Japan to support UNICEF’s work, public awareness campaigns about UNICEF’s activities and the situation of children globally, as well as advocacy activities aimed at realizing children’s rights.

Its support activities include health, nutrition, water and sanitation, education, protection from violence and exploitation, HIV/AIDS, emergency relief, and advocacy. All funding for these activities comes from donations and voluntary contributions from individuals, corporations, organizations, and governments.
