Time

THE WHEEL OF TIME ...

I listened to the music of life play, the melody made body movements inevitable, the melodies accompanied by this seraphic presence forced even mountains and hills to their feet.

I watched from a distance as people danced to the tune of my generation.

The little ones, I saw them playing around the circles of life, innocently they smiled calling out to each other, dancing like nothing else matters. Oh! How beautiful it feels to be a little child.

Lost in my own thoughts, the wind of fantasy succeeded in blowing my worries away.

But just as I was about praying this moments last forever, the wheel of time turned to face me, she laughed at me reminding me of how stupid it was to think all these will come to pass by just imaginations, she wasted no time reminding me that wishes were not horses.

As I listened to her move her hands, I was ushered back to realities, sooner than I thought I was confronted with responsibilities, all my sweet memories was reduced to little but tough responsibilities.

What a wheel! Many times I have tried to come up with feasible strategies to beat this wheel to its game but ...
