Power of Agile: MVP1

In September I started working on a new game: temporary project name “Power of Agile” (PoA).

The idea of this game is to show how an Agile Coach can create value in an organisation, helping the growth and fixing the blockers, while you are competing against time.

PoA is a solo game where you have three different decks of 12 cards, mixed together

• Actions are inspired by the Agile Coaching Institute and in particular from the work of Lyssa Adkins
• Influencers are the result of the amazing tuning work I did with The Agile Mind game (here available)
• Blockers are inspired by every day reality

This is MVP1, has everything needed for implementing the mechanic, a basic graphical layout (with all information) and it is perfectly playable.

The logic of the game is consume cards (enabling them) to create the mindset shift required for a full agile adoption expressed with the influencers: Autonomy Mastery, Purpose and Collaboration, Leadership and Environment (for an introduction on influencers see The AGile Mind related articles)

I have already played four sessions. Every session lasts approximately for20 mins. I won every time (not sure game is challenging enough) I had some fun, but also noticed some exciting play you can have with the sequence cards could fire. I have already tuned most of the cards.
