Tata Motors Launches Harrier EV RWD Variants, Prices Starting from ₹21.49 Lakh; Bookings Open July 2

Tata Motors has officially revealed the pricing for its 2025 Harrier EV rear-wheel drive (RWD) models, with ex-showroom prices ranging from ₹21.49 Lakh to ₹27.49 Lakh. This marks a significant step for the brand as it introduces a powerful, advanced, and feature-rich electric vehicle. While RWD variant prices are now public, details for the top-end Empowered All-Wheel Drive (AWD) option will be announced later. Official bookings for the RWD models are set to commence on July 2, 2025.

The 2025 Tata Harrier EV RWD is offered across three main configurations: Adventure, Fearless Plus, and Empowered. Customers can choose from two battery pack options: 65 kWh and 75 kWh, distributed across five variants. The 65 kWh battery is available in Adventure, Adventure S, and Fearless Plus trims, while the larger 75 kWh pack powers the Fearless Plus and Empowered variants.

• Adventure 65 kWh: ₹21.49 Lakh
• Adventure S 65 kWh: ₹21.99 Lakh
• Fearless + 65 kWh: ₹23.99 Lakh
• Fearless + 75 kWh: ₹24.99 Lakh
• Empowered 75 kWh: ₹27.49 Lakh

Color Options:

The Harrier EV RWD is available in four colors: Empowered Oxide, Nainital Nocturne, Pristine White, and Pure Grey. The Adventure and Fearless trims are limited to Pristine White and Pure Grey, while the top-end Empowered variants offer all four color choices.

• Adventure 65 kWh (Entry-level): Features include 18-inch alloy wheels, smart digital DRLs, LED bi-projector headlamps and connected tail lamps, leatherette seating, 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen and digital driver display, OTA updates, 4-speaker + 2 tweeter audio, tilt and telescopic steering, V2V and V2L capabilities, regenerative braking with paddle shifters, 7 multi-drive options (Eco, City, Sport), Acoustic Vehicle Alert System, ABS with EBD, 6 airbags, TPMS, all-wheel disc brakes, and Hydraulic brake assist.
• Adventure S 65 kWh: Builds upon the Adventure features, adding a larger 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, driver doze-off alert, automatic headlamps, and automatic defogger.
• Fearless+ (65 kWh & 75 kWh): Mid-spec variant offering dual-zone climate control, rear defogger, air purifier with AQI display, ambient lighting, cooled storage in the front armrest, wireless phone charging, auto-dimming IRVM, 10-speaker JBL Black audio system, 360-degree 3D surround-view camera, front parking sensors, 19-inch alloy wheels, and front LED fog lamps.
• Empowered 75 kWh (Top-spec RWD): Exclusively with the 75 kWh battery, this variant boasts Dolby Atmos, a large 14.53-inch Samsung Neo QLED infotainment touchscreen, a powered boss mode seat function, gesture-activated powered tailgate, terrain mode selector knob with LED display (Normal, Wet, Rough, Custom modes), Auto Park Assist with 15 functions, Level 2 ADAS with 22 safety and driver-assist features, a digital IRVM with dashcam recording, and a 540-degree view system (360-degree camera + 180-degree transparent mode).

Upcoming AWD Variant:

The price for the top-spec Empowered QWD (AWD dual-motor) 75 kWh is yet to be announced, with an expected disclosure in June 2027. This variant will feature all-wheel drive, dual motors, Boost Mode, Off-road Assist, and six terrain modes.

Market Competition:

The 2025 Tata Harrier EV is poised to compete with models like the Mahindra XEV 9e and BYD Atto 3, while also serving as a more affordable alternative to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and BYD Sealion 7. Unofficial bookings are currently open at dealerships, with official orders commencing on July 2nd.
