She explained that in Agri- business, there must be goals:

• the desired yield from a particular size of land, the need for additional labour, where to get the market to sell the farm produce as part of the planning.

• Getting initiative: seeking extension workers advise and funding the agric-business.

• Attitude of the farmer is also an important factor. As there is risk involved but the attitude of the farmer will help him or her not to be discouraged, rather succeed.

• There is need for insurance to prevent losses from either natural disasters, diseases and other forms of risk.

• the most important thing in the planning is record keeping. As it is from there a farmer can be able to know the cost involved in farming and the gains. Lenders uses the record kept by the farmer to give loan. Also, insurance registration is done through the record kept by the farmer.

She also advised that, for those who can not afford loan, they can go into partnership as individual to individual or as a group. Contribute to the funding equally or in pro-rata bases and the profit shared same.
