How to Unstake Tokens Seamlessly with the SparX Wallet

No more switching between sites. Everything you need for staking and unstaking is now built directly into the SparX Wallet, available as a Chrome extension and mobile app. If you are using SparX, you no longer need to visit VenomStake.com. The entire process happens inside the wallet itself, making it faster, simpler, and more secure.

Signing In to SparX Wallet

Option 1: Sign in with Your Existing Seed Phrase

-Click the second line: “Sign in with your seed phrase” (the first option is only for creating a brand new wallet).

-From the network list, select the Venom icon and tap the blue “Next” button.

-Enter your 12 word seed phrase in order (cells 1 to 12) and press Next.

-Create a strong password for transaction confirmations in both “Enter password” and “Confirm password” fields, then tap Next. Your wallet is now ready.

Option 2: Secure Login via Ledger (Recommended — Seed Phrase Never Entered)

-Select the third option: “Sign in with Ledger”.

-Choose the Venom network and click Next.

-Follow the on screen instructions:

1. Connect your Ledger device via USB.
2. Enter your PIN on the Ledger to unlock it.
3. Approve the connection steps as they appear.

This method keeps your seed phrase completely offline and secure.

Option 3: Restore from JSON Backup

-Click the bottom line: “Restore from a backup via JSON”.

-Select your saved .json backup file.

-Enter the password associated with that backup.

Important Step After Setup: Switch to Venom (old) Network

In order to see your pre-migration staked tokens and balances, you have to do this: in the top right corner of SparX, tap the circular network selector.

Choose Venom (old) so a checkmark appears next to it. Without this switch, your old staking positions may not display on the main screen.

Unstaking stVENOM — Fully Inside SparX Wallet

All staking and unstaking operations now happen directly through the Stake button. There is no reason to visit the old website.

On Chrome Extension (Desktop)

1. On the main wallet screen, tap the round Stake button.
2. In the “Simple Liquid Staking” window, switch from the Stake tab to the Unstake tab.
3. Enter the amount of tokens you want to withdraw or click Max.
4. Press the blue Unstake button at the bottom.
5. If using Ledger: Confirm and sign the transaction on your physical device.

Your tokens will return to your balance in 24–36 hours (after two validation rounds).

On Mobile App (iOS / Android)

1. On the main screen, tap the Stake button.
2. Switch to the Unstake tab in the top horizontal menu.
3. Enter the amount of StVENOM or tap Max.
4. Tap the blue Unstake button at the bottom and confirm the transaction.
5. Track the status in the “In process” tab.

Funds will become available within 24–36 hours.

Security Reminder

All sensitive operations (seed phrase entry, transaction signing) happen locally inside your device. Never share your seed phrase with anyone, and always double check that you are using the official SparX Wallet.
