Right on the back of the Canon’s announcement of the new Canon EOS 60D (and some interesting new Canon lenses), Nikon has done the same today and has included a new flash.

Here’s a quick rundown:

This camera provides some serious competition to Canon’s 60D, even though it’s US$100 more for the body alone. Some notable features include:

Nikon SB-700 Speedlight

I’m not that familiar with the Nikon lineup of flash units or how they compare but I’m sure this is a welcome addition and surely a good replacement for the SB-600.
