MY RECENT CHALLENGING EXPERIENCE

Life is all about challenges but how we handle the challenges is what makes us stronger and prepare us for the challenges ahead. Also, documenting daily changes is a good step to solve tomorrow challenges and may serve as a guide for others. In this vein, I have decided to document my recent challenge at Andela boot camp.

Andela is a software development company that builds individual to be world class developer. In the quest to be a fellow with her, a boot camp is being organized to select the best of the best. My challenges cuts across learning version control system in particular Git, and understanding test driven development and programming logic.

How did I solve the challenge?

Videos on test driven development by Philip really aid my understanding. It didn’t stop there, documentations of the framework discussed in the videos also contributed to my understanding. Also, videos on version control and programming logic by Temi Lajumoke assisted my understanding on version control system and Git in particular.

Learning Outcome

The challenges really build me. I can now write functions that can be reusable e.g arithmetic and geometric progression. Also, I was able to write test cases for my logic and use the git version control system well.
