Once you have clean data, you can view ROI through two executive lenses:

  • The net efficiency gain: Reclaimed developer hours multiplied by your blended hourly rate, minus your total AI compute and license costs.

AI-assisted development shouldn’t be treated as an unguided autopilot experiment. Unlocking its true value requires active engineering management, automated guardrails, and an operational playbook that turns raw coding speed into measurable business outcomes.
