2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

With God, one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day. Two thousand years have passed since Jesus’ first coming.

Hosea 6:2 After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.

We are now living in the Third Day.

Living in the Third Day, we are positioned for a time of profound change. There are many instances throughout Scripture where the “third day” is mentioned. These instances often marked critical turning points, and brought about significant blessings.

The Third Day is a time where we can expect profound blessings, favour, restoration, resurrection, and breakthrough!

The Hebrew word for ‘three’ — Shalosh — is made of three root consonants — Shin-Lamed-Shin

שלש

• Shin represents the power of God. It is also symbolic of the divine fire of God.
• Lamed is a picture of the shepherd’s staff. It represents Jesus, our Good Shepherd, who laid His life down for His sheep.

The word for ‘three’ (שלש) is a picture of the Resurrection of Jesus.

Indeed Jesus (ל) was our One Sacrifice at the cross two thousand years ago. He was judged by the divine fire of God (ש) carrying all of our sins on His body. Our sins have been dealt with and judged once and for all.

Jesus absorbed all the judgement and the fire of God when He died on the cross. On the third day — by the resurrection power of God (ש) — He rose again.

He defeated sin and death!

We are now fully righteous before God, and we fully qualify for all the blessings and promises of the Third Day.
