CONTRACT SIGNING AEW WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP

The show opens with Tony Shiavone in the ring, welcoming us to the contract signing for the TBS Championship Match at All In. He introduces the challenger as Britt Baker comes to the ring and takes a seat behind one of the chairs. TBS Champion Mercedes Moné is introduced next, accompanied by Kamille as she makes her way to the ring. Tony addresses the match scheduled for this Sunday at Wembley Stadium, pointing out that no physical altercations are allowed at this contract signing. Moné then calls on the Cardiff fans to welcome their CEO. She promises that if she beats Baker at All In, everyone will know that Britt is the past and Mercedes is the future. Baker grabs the mic and reminds Moné that she came to All In last year ‘hobbling on crutches’ and points out that there was a D.M.D. before the CEO. Moné continues to taunt Baker until she is interrupted by a loud chant from the crowd. She responds by confronting Baker, accusing her of not having the guts to win this match, and promising that DMD will not defeat Moné at All In. Britt talks about Mercedes’ legacy and says that she paved the way for Baker to be one of the first women in the company that Moné now fights for. Baker promises to play by the rules and not go after Moné, but adds that Kamille is getting on her nerves before launching herself at the ‘Brickhouse’! Moné intervenes briefly before she and Kamille flee the ring. Baker remains standing tall, triumphantly holding the title.

Jericho def. Hook against the Code Breaker

• The bad apple Bryan Keith & ‘Big Redwood’ Big Bill interfered in the match to no avail, as Billington successfully fended them off at first, until he faced the Cold Breaker and subsequent defeat a short time later.
• Hook then comes out to save Billington from further attacks, but is dispatched with a monster joke slam from Big Bill, which takes us into the waste area

Backstage: The Conglomeration promotes their upcoming match on Saturday against The Undisputed Kingdom at AEW Collision.

In-Ring: Will Ospreay makes his way to the ring to huge applause from the Cardiff crowd. But the cheers quickly turn to boos as MJF’s music plays, signalling the arrival of the International Champion. MJF asks the crowd to remain quiet so the face-to-face segment can begin. Ospreay quiets the crowd briefly, only to have them get even louder by mentioning the city, before asking the fans to give MJF a warm welcome — which again leads to loud jeering. Ospreay notes how surprising it is that an Englishman is so popular in Wales, before talking about his connection to the region. He explains that Sunday is about cleaning up the mess MJF has made, adding that after Sunday they should call him ‘Barry Scott’ because ‘BANG and the dirt will be gone.’ MJF grabs the mic and begins to humiliate Ospreay before addressing the crowd and refusing to listen to their demands. He claims that the heads of AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery have begged him to return before he’s fully healed to clean up the mess Ospreay has made — only to be interrupted by Ospreay. Ospreay talks about MJF’s rise to the top of the company and mentions that viewers laughed at it. He questions MJF’s claim that he was begged to show up for work while Tony Khan came to Will Ospreay because ‘3000 people and their nans’ had signed up to see a good wrestling match, as Khan couldn’t rely on the World Champion to deliver that. Ospreay goes on to explain that he is ‘the feeling’ that MJF is making fun of. MJF emphasises that he’s not about catering to the crowd, he’s about doing what Americans do best — winning. He admits that he believed Tony Khan when he said the company was safe in Ospreay’s hands, but provocatively asks, ‘Who is Will Ospreay?’ The crowd seems to know, as they chant Ospreay’s name while MJF declares that everyone knows who he is — the best wrestler on God’s green earth. He asks Will who told him he was the best in the world, mocking the crowd for ‘knowing nothing about pro wrestling’ because they like Will’s matches. MJF reminds them that he’s the longest reigning AEW World Champion and that’s a fact. MJF stares at Ospreay and declares that facts don’t care about feelings, unlike Ospreay and his fans who rely on their ‘feelings’. Ospreay counters that ‘facts’ can be rewritten, but people’s feelings can’t. He says that MJF could go around Europe, Japan and the world asking who the best wrestler in the world is, and the answer would always be Will Ospreay. Will confronts MJF about how he has let people down, which is why those who once loved him have turned their backs on him. MJF retorts that those people loved him until Ospreay showed up and ruined everything, and stops as the crowd jeers. MJF starts to mention Ospreay’s wife and child, which angers Ospreay so much that he asks Schiavone to check with Tony Khan to see what the penalty would be for assaulting MJF. Schiavone informs him that it would cost £100,000, about $127,000. Ospreay declares that it’s worth it and then pounces on the champion! Security rush in to defuse the situation, but before they can intervene, MJF uses his Dynamite Diamond Ring and knocks Ospreay down. Ospreay is injured as MJF threatens to attack him with a Tiger Driver until security intervenes again and Christopher Daniels rushes in to check on Ospreay. MJF leaves the ring as his music plays.

’Adam Page announced to Renee Parquet that he is in the Casino Gauntlet Match… Before he can speak further, Evil UNO joins in and asks if he knows who else is in the match. UNO just says that he just spoke to Daniels, and Daniels said that he (UNO) is in that match. Suddenly, Page attacks UNO and knocks him down to say that he will win the match and then take on Swerve.

This match was a time limit draw

After the match, the EVP’S The Young Bucks appear and ask the crowd in Cardiff/Wales if they want an extra 5 minutes. Which they loudly chanted for. But there won’t be, because Okada only agreed to enter the ring for 20 minutes and no more. They ask Claudio to leave before they take control of the match.

4.) THE ELITE VS FTR & DARBY ALLIN

The Acclaimed then appear on stage, hyping their upcoming match and their win at All In… Billy Gunn then breaks out the DX Catchphrase until the main event begins

The Final Contdown: Danielson & Swerve Strickland

In-Ring: Nigel McGuinness is ready to announce Swerve Strickland for the final showdown before the AEW World Championship Match at All In. The champion enters the ring, accompanied by Prince Nana. Once Swerve is in the ring, Nigel begins to introduce his opponent, but instead decides to take down Bryan Danielson, before highlighting Swerve as the superior favourite and asking how it feels to go into the match with that expectation.

Swerve confirms Nigel’s statement and declares that he is the most dangerous man in AEW. He talks about the opponents he has defeated to become AEW World Champion, mentioning names like Hangman Page, Jay White, Samoa Joe, Claudio Castagnoli, Christian Cage and Will Ospreay. Swerve promises to dissect Bryan in the ring — deliberately, menacingly and scientifically. Nigel points out that there’s one man not yet on that list, but Swerve interrupts him and explains that he’s not done yet.

Swerve mentions that they’re both from the Pacific Northwest, but he’s offended by Bryan’s comments that he’s ready for retirement. He insists that Bryan won’t take this moment away from him and promises to make sure Bryan can’t get back in the ring after All In. After decimating Bryan at Wembley Stadium, maybe Bryan will feel like going to an independent wrestling show in Washington again — but Swerve will be there to beat him down. Maybe Bryan goes to Mexico to take on a different role at Arena Mexico, but Swerve will find him there, too. Even when Bryan talks to his family about how he’s itching to wrestle again, Swerve will be there.

This provocation brings out ‘The American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson, who runs down the stage to confront the champ. Swerve escapes the ring while Bryan makes it clear that some people may be confused because he doesn’t talk about himself for 20 minutes every week. But he’s the best wrestler in the world, and everyone knows it!

Swerve threatens to cripple Danielson in front of his daughter. But Bryan counters that Swerve will have to do more than that at All In — he’ll have to nearly kill him, because Bryan will leave his soul in that ring.

One question must be asked: Will Bryan Danielson defeat Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship? The crowd begins to loudly chant ‘Yes’, and Bryan emphasises that both the fans and Swerve know the answer. Bryan encourages another ‘Yes’ chant from the crowd as Nana pulls the furious Strickland back. The two leave the ring as Bryan poses for the crowd, ending the final Dynamite before AEW All In ‘London’ 2024.
