Ratings: 5/5
Age Rating: 14+ (Or older, as there are many triggers involved, stated at the bottom)
This book starts the trilogy with Pip solving a closed murder case for her senior project. Pip believed Sal Singh did not kill Andie Bell, and she was more than ready to prove it.
My Thoughts:
- This book was incredible on many levels that I can barely put it to words. It is so very clear that Holly Jackson put so much thought and effort into this book!
- The characters have a certain charm to them that I find to be very lifelike! The way they talk, joke around, and act seems more like a diary to me rather than an actual character, which made this book so fun to read.
- While I really enjoyed this book, it was hard for me to finish quickly. To put it into perspective, I can usually read a book between 3 days and 1 week. This book took me almost a month to finish. But the plot was so so good, I do not have the heart to give it a 4-star rating!
I recommend this book to anyone who liked One of Us is Lying or any other books that have investigations!
