I’m still waiting for you, Your wishes mattered the most But it’s been years now, or maybe it feels like that it’s been years Didn’t it all happen only a few weeks ago?

I’ll wait for you tonight, I’ll sit by the balcony’s railing I’ll count the stars to spend time Because they are less than the time when I last received a whisper from your side

the bench by the lake,

the crystal water of the lake,

the acacia trees by the footpath,

the same footpath that used to carry

our footsteps in the evening,

the maroon high walls,

rain through the streetlight,

the same monsoon rain,

the cat crossing road at night,

the same black cat,

the blurry moon,

people carrying umbrella,

can’t they reach home without shelter

from this beautiful rain?

I wonder,

are you the same people?

or you are still unique?

kicking each other,

laughing randomly,

comparing strengths,

all without a reason,

your sky blue zip pull

is still hanging with my bag’s zip,

the beige gloves you gave me

the last Christmas holiday

are still in my closet

passed through the same way,

where your silver earring once fell,

and we searched for half an hour,

passed by the same library,

from where

you used to borrow books,

passed by the same college,

where you received

my graduation letter,

passed through the same way,

where we walked last time,

not knowing it’s the last time

I wish I get you again,

where have you gone?

will you come tonight?
