563: I played Carrom for the very first time
About two months ago, I played Carrom for the very first time. It’s this fancy little tabletop game from India where you flick discs across the board, trying to sink them into corners like some kind of tiny, aggressive billiards match.
My colleagues were kind enough to teach me how to play — or at least that’s what I thought. I kinda remember the moves, sorta understand the scoring, but the actual rules? Completely gone from my brain.
Still, I managed to make a few points, mostly by accident, so I’m counting that as skill. Will I play again? Absolutely.
