Felicia would sometimes spy for both sides.

Others would choose to be true.

Like any treacherous spy, Felicia shared top secrets, for the other side to buy.

Loving their countries, as most patriots do, a spy in their midst was something brand-new.

Others never had a clue.

When top command heard of a spy in their ranks, they just thought it was some kind of bad propaganda or prank.

There was no doubt when tank plans were uncovered.

Heavy artillery, at their border, was discovered.

Envelopes of cash were found in Felicia’s kitchen cupboard.

Most of her colleagues couldn’t believe it was her.

Others knew the truth of it once everything was heard.

No amateur could pull the daring midnight drop-offs.

Keeping her secret demanded no leaks or questionable tip-offs.

Every message was encoded and sent by courier, to never be uncovered with any error made by her.

Yet, her whole operation went completely astray when her comrades followed the monkey that way.
