This Programmed is designed for people in critical well control Position on drilling installations as well as onshore roles. The candidates will complete an IWCF accredited training course, taught according to IWCF syllabus, in order to prepare them for assessment,

COURSE CONTENT:

Well Control management, Origins of pressure, Primary well control, Dynamic wellbore Pressures, Causes of kicks, Blowout Prevents & well control equipments, Kick warning, Signs, Diverting Shallow gas kicks, Shut — in procedures, well control methods, Handling on- bottom kicks, Handling off- bottom kicks, Down hole & equipment Problems during well control, well barriers, Risk Assessment, simulator Assessment.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE:

Level 3: Available for any role expected to shut in a well.

Level 4: Well Site Supervisor Training.

Consider of Two Written Assessments and a Practical assessment using simulator equipment.
