What if every requirement in a project was treated as equally important?
At first, it might seem like the right approach. But when everything is a priority, nothing really is.
That’s why I found the MoSCoW Prioritization Technique so interesting. It offers a simple way to decide what needs attention first.
🔴 Must Have – Essential requirements
🟠 Should Have – Important but not critical
🟢 Could Have – Nice to have if time permits
🔵 Won’t Have (for now) – Out of scope for the current release
I like how this technique helps teams focus on delivering the most valuable features first.
Have you used the MoSCoW technique in your projects? I’d love to hear how it worked for you.
