There’s a certain irony and hypocrisy in how we act on love. We idealize it, place it on a pedestal, and spend years yearning for a connection we believe will complete us. But, when it finally arrives, why do we become the very thing we feared?

It upsets me when people in relationships act like what they have is just something anyone can access. While you sit there giving her the cold shoulder, others are desperately praying for the chance to hold someone they love once again. Some will never even know the feeling of being truly loved or reciprocated, while others will never grasp the depth of connection and intimacy that relationships hold.

Everyone longs for a connection that is real, deep, and genuine. But when it’s finally within our grasp, why do we suddenly grow indifferent? Forgetting that we once prayed for it. It’s as if we lose sight of what love means, allowing complacency to set aside the passion of believing in it.

So, while you still can, cherish the love you’ve been given. Nurture it, appreciate it, and remember that it’s not something to be taken for granted.

In a world where so many hearts are left longing, those who have love must do everything to honor it.
