NineData Cloud-Native Intelligent Data Management Platform New Feature Release｜December 2025 Edition

Throughout December, we continued to iterate around multi-cloud database support and the expansion of heterogeneous data replication capabilities.

This month, we released a total of 12 updates, covering core modules including Database DevOps, Data Replication, and Data Comparison. The release includes 8 major feature announcements and 4 functional optimizations.

Major Feature Announcements

Database DevOps — Continued Expansion of SQL Console Multi-Data Source Support The SQL Console capabilities have been significantly expanded, with new support for the following two data sources:

• Google Cloud Memorystore: A fully managed Redis service on Google Cloud. The SQL Console now supports unified access and management of Memorystore data sources, enabling users to view and operate cache data within the same platform.
• SAP HANA: Targeting enterprise multi-model database scenarios, the SQL Console adds support for SAP HANA data sources, allowing SQL query and management operations to be performed within the NineData platform.

Database DevOps — SQL Task Support for PolarDB-X SQL Tasks now support Alibaba Cloud PolarDB-X data sources, enabling the execution and management of SQL change tasks within distributed database environments.

Data Replication — Addition of Multiple New Heterogeneous Link Capabilities Multiple new heterogeneous database replication links were added in December:

• Azure SQL Database > PolarDB PostgreSQL
• GaussDB > Oracle
• Oracle > GaussDB
• Dameng > Oracle
• Dameng > Dameng

All the above links support structural, full, and incremental replication, catering to various business scenarios such as migration, synchronization, and dual-write setups.

Functional Optimizations

Database DevOps

• SQL Intelligent Optimization (MySQL): The SQL intelligent optimization capability now reads table metadata, row counts, index statistics, and other information, significantly improving the accuracy of optimization recommendations.
• Data Archiving and Purging: Data archiving and purging workflows now support task termination operations, enhancing controllability during O&M processes.

Data Replication and Comparison NineData now offers comprehensive support for the new MySQL 9.x ecosystem:

• Data Replication:
• Supports MySQL 9.x as both source and target.
• Compatible with MySQL 9 syntax changes.
• New support for the Vector data type.
• Data Comparison: Adds support for data comparison with MySQL 9.x data sources.
