The Reality Is Stranger Than The Fantasy?
Our lives are not that different from fantasy movies when you really think about them.
Imagine an ordinary day. You wake up from sleep, and maybe you had a dream. But what is a dream, actually?
Then you brush your teeth and make some food. And what is food made of? Plants and other living things. But before giving me a definition, just look at a plant for a moment. Set the label aside and think about it deeply. How does that thing even exist? Are you telling me that it somehow came out of nothing?
And even if it did, isn't that astonishing?
Then you cook with fire. Fire again. What even is that? A thing that gives light, warmth, and energy, yet seems almost alive when you watch it dance.
After that, you leave for work and get into a vehicle. Imagine a bike for a second. It's just this two-wheeled machine carrying a human being from one place to another. Look around for a moment. People are moving everywhere. They're all on their own journeys, thinking their own thoughts, living entire lives that we know almost nothing about.

Then you reach your office and meet so many humans. But what is a human, really? We're living organisms, just like the strange creatures we see in fantasy movies. We grow, learn, dream, love, suffer, and somehow become conscious enough to wonder about our own existence.
And then maybe you see a cat.

A living creature covered in soft fur, carrying within it a mind that experiences the world in its own mysterious way. A being that can leap with incredible precision, see in near darkness, hear sounds beyond our perception, and somehow transform food into movement, warmth, curiosity, and life. It has a heart that beats, eyes that gather light, nerves that carry signals, and a brain that creates an experience we can never fully know. It can feel fear, comfort, excitement, and affection, yet it cannot explain any of these things to us.
For some reason, that feels even crazier.
Sometimes I feel like we've made everything seem so normal simply because we're used to it. We have names for things, explanations for things, and categories for things. But when you look at the world without labels, it's honestly as strange and magical as any fantasy story.
We live in a world with fire rainbows, glowing seas, luminous forests, and foxfire that shines in the dark.

There are creatures that produce their own light, birds that can navigate across entire continents, and animals that can change color in seconds. We live on a giant rock hurtling through space around a star, yet most of us treat these facts as if they were ordinary.
What more do we need to be astonished?
Sometimes I wonder if we've been looking for magic in the wrong places. We search for it in fantasy novels and movies while standing in the middle of a world filled with wonders we hardly notice.
Maybe the world didn't lose its magic.
Maybe we just got used to it.
I sometimes find it strange that all of this everything around us exists at all. What surprises me even more is how easily people seem to accept it and move on.
Even if everything came from nothing, isn't it incredible that something so beautiful could emerge from it?
Whenever I see a cat, a tree, or a bird, I often ask people, "What is it, exactly?"
I don't mean its name.
For a moment, forget the labels. Look at it as if you've never seen it before. What is that thing, really?
Most people simply say, "It's a cat," and move on. Some look at me with raised eyebrows. Maybe they're too busy thinking about exams, jobs, responsibilities, deadlines, and everything else life throws at them to stop and wonder about questions like this.
I don't blame them.
But I can't help wondering.
I once cried because I realized I might never see a nebula with my own eyes.

That probably sounds ridiculous. But when I think about space, the feeling becomes even stronger. How can something like a nebula exist? Vast clouds of color drifting through the darkness of space, stretching across unimaginable distances.
What is it, truly?
I don't know.
But I'm glad it exists.
Maybe that's why I keep asking these questions. Not because I'm searching for answers, but because the questions themselves remind me how extraordinary it is that anything exists at all.
Perhaps reality isn't less magical than fantasy.
Perhaps we're just too familiar with it to notice.
