Damn, Laura Owens Faked TWO Pregnancies?

I’ll give you a little background here, and here’s a video to walk you through some of it:

Not a ton to say here — Laura is currently awaiting trial on some perjury charges, among others, and could face about 2–3 years in jail — except that her dad is a famous San Francisco radio personality who recently had to file for bankruptcy because of growing Parkinson’s-related medical bills. I am not a mental clinician, but Ms. Owens here seems a bit crazy and I do believe the term we would generally use in this situation is “trapping,” I.e. it appears from the video that what happened is she was texting with a former Bachelor contestant, he was high and invited her over, she went down on him, she wanted to be his girlfriend, he didn’t want that, and she invented a pregnancy scare — and then she did it again, with another guy.

The good news here, as opposed to the Taylor Parker case, is that we didn’t get nine to ten months into this and then a pregnant lady got murdered. So there’s a small silver lining on this particular case.

I’ve personally been on a six-year infertility journey and I know the whole deal can be frustrating. I think Laura here did it to get a boyfriend, potentially — what would she have said when there was no kid? — but even in my most depressed days around biological parenting, I’d never consider one of these types of scams.

Is this where we blame the declining mental health of young women on parenting or liberalism?
