I had an illness, and I’m pretty sure it was COVID, or death reviewing my life, and it was not pleasant

So, a while ago, probably a week and a half to two weeks ago, I was in the shower, and I was shaving. And I started sweating from my head (and I am a bald-headed person). Eventually, I came out of that bathroom and cleaned myself dry. And I realized, that I actually came out dirtier than before. Because, I had some germs on me that were protecting me from the outside forces — (more liked demonic forces). So, when that happened, I let the doors wide open.

The next day, I had a scratchy throat, that’s all it was. And then, eventually, it grew into a fever, headache, fatigue (over time), and weakness. I don’t remember eating much. I took DayQuil. Which was nice for a while. Until I took it at night the very last time. And, that’s when all hell broke the night after.

The very next day, my symptoms of fatigue, chills, weakness, headache, loss of appetite, etc, you know, symptoms of the flu, were completely there. And, when I took cough suppressant, my chills were very violent. I don’t know what it was, but, I never was that ill before.

The proceeding nights, I kept coughing, and staying up, sweating through day and night, with pillowcase drenched in sweat, sheets wet, shirt wet, comforter wet, and me with a crackling, bubbling, purring sound in my chest while trying to breathe. I even lost my sense of taste.

So, I went to to the hospital and got my labs done. I also got an emergency appointment with my doctor to see me after I messaged him. Thankfully he saw me the day of, which was very nice of him. He gave me some antibiotics and prescribed a chest x-ray since he noticed some peculiarities in my breathing while he was using a measuring instrument.

So I got some amoxicillin and azithromycin. Took my regimen, and now, I just have a cough with some cough medication I’m taking. I washed my bed sheets a couple days ago and I was able to sleep normally.

I got a COVID test from the local pharmacy. It came back negative for COVID and flu — thankfully. I guess what I had was COVID…

The world may never know…
